Add a credential
Tap the + button on Home, or pick a Popular template from the quick-add list. Choose a category — Certification, Identification, License, or Other — then photograph the front (and back if it has one). Trust reads the issue and expiration dates off the image and fills them in for you, so double-check them before saving.
Set renewal reminders
Every credential gets a default reminder schedule the moment you add it, based on the expiration date Trust detects. Open the credential's Details screen to see the scheduled alerts, and adjust the lead time — 90 days, 30 days, or a custom window — if your specialty needs more runway to reschedule a course.
Export or share a credential
From a credential's Details screen, tap Share to generate a PDF with the front image, dates, and issuing authority. It opens in the standard iOS share sheet, so you can send it by email, AirDrop, or upload it to a hospital's portal. Nothing leaves your device until you choose to share it.
Restore your wallet on a new phone
Trust stores credentials on-device rather than in a cloud account, so moving to a new iPhone takes an iOS device-to-device transfer or an encrypted iCloud backup restore — Trust's data comes along with the rest of your apps. Common support questions
Is my credential data stored in the cloud?
No. Trust stores everything on your device. There's no account to create and no server copy of your documents, which also means we can't recover a credential for you if it's deleted — only your device or its backups can.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your credentials are protected by your device's passcode and, if enabled, Face ID or Touch ID — the same protection as the rest of your phone. Restoring from an iCloud or Finder/iTunes backup onto a new device brings your Trust data back with it.
Can Trust read dates off any credential photo?
Trust's date detection works well on typical license, certification, and ID cards, but always confirm the dates it fills in before saving — poor lighting, glare, or an unusual layout can occasionally throw off a reading.
Does Trust work on Android?
Trust is currently iOS only. There's no Android version to install at this time.
How do I change a reminder after I've set it?
Open the credential from My Documents, tap into its Details screen, and edit the alert schedule there. Changes apply immediately and don't require re-adding the credential.
Can I add a credential without a physical card, like a course certificate PDF?
Yes. Use the Add Document flow and choose a photo from your library instead of the camera, or take a picture of a printed certificate. You can also enter dates manually if there's nothing to scan.
Why does a credential show up under Expires Soon before its actual expiration date?
Expires Soon reflects your reminder lead time, not the expiration date itself — it's designed to surface renewals early enough to act on them. Check the credential's Details screen for the exact expiration date.
Who can see the credentials I share?
Only whoever you send the exported PDF to, through whatever channel you choose. Trust has no visibility into what you export or where it goes after it leaves the share sheet.
