Each item states what changed, who it affects, and what to do next. We cite the regulator or primary source, record the date we verified it, and link into a live Trust renewal guide when one exists. California paramedic renewal: the 30-day fee window
California EMSA paramedic renewal costs $250 when a complete application is received at least 30 calendar days before expiration. Inside that window, a $50 late fee applies for a $300 total. The fee schedule has been effective since July 1, 2021. File early and keep CE certificates ready for audit.
Florida paramedic certificates expire December 1, 2026
Florida Department of Health states current EMT and paramedic certificates expire at midnight Eastern Time on December 1, 2026. On-time paramedic Active→Active renewal is $45. Missing the date moves the certificate to involuntary inactive. Finish the 30-hour refresher path (or exam path) and keep ACLS current before you attest in Florida Health Source.
NREMT Motion 24-04: no separate CPR card for Registry recert
NREMT Motion 24-04 removed the separate BLS CPR card requirement from National Registry certification schemes. The Recertification Guide states the NCCP model does not require CPR (BLS) or ACLS cards for Registry recert — those courses may still count as CE if documented. Your employer or state office can still require a current card for practice.
