Is this what the board requires, or what hospitals want?
Both, labelled separately. Your state license row comes from the board dataset behind Trust. Cards like ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or NIHSS are labelled as employer expectations because most boards do not require them — your unit does.
With a compact (NLC) license, which state's rules do I follow?
Your home state — your primary state of residence — issues and renews the multistate license, and you practise in other compact states on that privilege. Use the Trust compact checker to confirm whether a destination state is covered.
Does BLS count as continuing education?
It depends on the state. Some boards accept resuscitation courses toward CE hours, many do not. California generally does not unless the course carries a BRN provider number. Check the state CE table for your board's rule.
