Move your documents on-device.

Trust is moving to a fully on-device model — no cloud copies, no servers holding your credentials. If you signed up before this change, here's the one-time migration. It takes about a minute.

Step-by-step

  1. Step 01

    Update to the latest Trust version

    Open the App Store and update Trust. The migration prompt only appears on the latest build.

  2. Step 02

    Open Trust and tap “Move to this device”

    You'll see a one-time banner on Home. Tap it to start the migration. Your cloud copy stays in place until the move completes successfully.

  3. Step 03

    Confirm with Face ID / Touch ID

    Trust copies each credential — front and back images, dates, and metadata — into your phone's secure local store.

  4. Step 04

    Review and finish

    Once every document shows a green check, tap Finish. Trust removes the cloud copies and from then on your wallet lives only on your device.

Frequently asked

Will I lose any data?
No. The cloud copy stays in place until every document has been confirmed on your device.
What happens if I get a new phone?
If you back up to iCloud with encrypted backup enabled, your Trust wallet restores with your phone. Otherwise you'll re-add credentials on the new device.
Can I cancel mid-migration?
Yes. Until you tap Finish, both copies coexist and you can back out without losing anything.
